He scored 32 goals in all competitions and most of those in the europa and carabou cup.

He’s shit, always been shit and just like Andros Townsend, scores the odd wonder goal.
Yep. People need to dig behind the headline grabbing '32' goals stat.

Rashford is already upsetting the Villa dressing room.
Apparently one of the conditions of his loan that he insisted on was that he would be named in the Champions league squad.

The striker (whose name I've forgotten) is very pissed off.

I fancied Villa to do well in the knock out stages, let's see how it pans out.

For a start, wikipedia has it as 30, not 32. Unless they're including England goals in the 32 stat.

But yeah, 17 goals in 35 games in the league, which he's managed twice in his career. His highest league returns other than that are 11 and 10, and every other season he's scored single figures.

But I honestly think the answer is that it was just before he signed a huge contract, and then thought he'd made it and became a lazy bastard. Famously does fuck all defensively, and isn't particularly great at pressing, so once every few seasons, he'll get a manager who can put up with that, play counter-attacking football, and get the best out of him. The rest of the time, he's scoring single figures and not contributing much else either.
