exactly what I was thinking...the only difference is that Pep wont be literally hanging around the club/training ground stinking the place up and still having direct influence
I think the one redeeming feature is that we have the finished article in the overall set up. I get the feeling that the next manager will be right and will fit within the system we have from the off. We have strong foundations in place. Utd, for eg, was built on sand.

maybe...maybe not...supposedly whoever this other team said he had to wait...utd said now or never and so he chose them.....

could all be crap however
This all sounds like a mix up of what's been stated. Amorin said wait until the end of the season and United said now or never. Also United trippled his current wages.

Do you think, if Amoron said no, that the rags would have gone all out to get Ian Holloway?

you got the first part right but reportedly he has said another club offered him 3 times more and he turned them down...easily could be seen as proganda to help him with his move for both the Sporting fans and rag fans however

Holloway probably wouldn't go to the rags without champions league football. I heard he has unfinished business. Neil warnock is probably a more realistic target for them . I've sent Neil a message saying he owes me a chief Scout position if got the job .

Sounds a bit odd to me if another club would treble what money United would offer. Unless the United offer had a 50 million pay off . I would imagine a sensible/educated manager would choose Altrincham or stockport over United if the money was better. Both have better squads to work with .

Might be a Saudi club.
