Seems the media and there fans are moving on from Amorim and looking at the palace manager now who hasn’t signed a contract which runs out this summer!

Weird how good top managers will jump ship to a team who has ruined 8/10 managers careers! Money ain’t everything but seems it is for the majority!
You can say Amorin is out of his depth & the system doesn't work but he's not coaching under 14s football. They are seasoned professional footballers who play for the national team & once again are willing to let the manager take the fall because they aren't willing to do the work off the ball. Dyche & Allardyce got stick for the way they set up but their players would work their bollocks offs

Lol a manager that failed at Chelsea and whu
just had a nose around sad cafe, Carrick and Ole at the wheel are favoured by the fans, along with names that will never even think of wrecking their careers at the scum. Potter looks favourite not so much Sir Gareth of Waistcoat though.

I'm 72 mate, I was there and saw it, in 74, when they went down. After we had won the League, the FA Cup, League Cup and ECWC. Even then the coverage they got from the papers, as they were then, was sick inducing. Let's not wish for too much . A constantly struggling bunch of wankers is more fun in my opinion anyway.
I wasn't even a teenager then, and had supported City since watching Colin Bell the first time that I'd been allowed to stay up and watch the football, in the 1960s. I'd grown up in Southampton but didn't even know that Saints existed.

Nevertheless, I was soon pressured into 'supporting' Saints, who also went down the same year as United.

So come May, I had to pretend to be really sad, whilst instead I was punching the air inside. Tricky for a kid.

I'd love to see United go down again, but would definitely miss the delicious agony of the derbies.

The rags think that if they buy players for overinflated sums that this would reflect how good that player was in real life, it's a strange way to look at football.

It doesn't matter to them because they make profits if they take a piss or have a shit, all down to a global know nowt fanbase who'd clamber over a dead relative for a fake rag shirt.

As I have stated repeatedly, since Gollum was in charge, people have been saying that. TT, Moyes and PEG were proven managers with a great track record.

The Norwegian troll, ten Bob and AMoron were supposedly young, talented managers

And none of them was able to reinvigorate the rags. What makes you think anyone else will do so?

I don't think even Pep could turn them around. We have owners who employ scouts & statisticians to do they job & are in a position to say no if they don't fit or panic if they turn us down, where as they have owners who are only interested in making money, keeping the match day income rolling in.

They do that buy signing decent players for world class wages & transfer fees which gets the giddy hordes thinking they're back & then the season starts, with reality kicking in.
