Drop in the ocean compared to $1.3B. It’s like 1%. The accountants consider it a rounding error and Premier League doesn’t care. As long as United make a profit they are happy. Incidentally, the rules basically advocate for taking out loans. You can spend hundreds of millions, take out a loan to cover it and still make a profit. Bizarre.

When Ole was at the wheel and they had that early run and he got the job I actually thought they would be round that corner given on paper they had a pretty decent number of “names” in the squad but was oblivious as was Ole I guess how caustic the attitudes were and probably the fruit of his Labour was born out of players playing for themselves and managing to get over the line for a few weeks.
The beauty of Carwrecks reign is its exactly a mirror of Ole except this squad is actually a bag of shite and the bounce this time is a combination of bang average players being bigged up (credit to Carwreck and his coaches) and arguably playing a bit more as a team with structure but playing at a unsustainable level I have no doubt in my mind that they will win no more than half their remaining games and will qualify for Europe possibly CL due to other teams around them dropping points
Carwreck gets the job they will have a disaster of a close season in the transfer market and sadly our campaign will once again fail as Carwreck is fucked off before next Christmas
The rags are still expecting the next manager/head coach to be like the pisscan and stay in the job for decades.

But, as we all know, it doesn’t work like that, and with the very rare exceptions (Pep) managers have a "shelf-life" of usually between three and five years, though it seems to be lower at the swamp, with all the expectations that go with the job.

The Govan bully had achieved success at Aberdeen, before he moved to Trafford, but what has Car-Wreck done? Gradually worse finishes at a Championship side with comparatively strong finances.

I really hope they give the job to him, because, ultimately he is not what the rags need.

They currently have 11 players expensively assembled only having to play once a week. They can manage energy levels and they have 7 days at looking at an opposition where as the teams above in and around them are playing every three days, so three days of studying the other team and also travel into Europe on top of that and shorter recovery times.

Add to that they now have rid of a manager that non of the players believed in his system and sulked for the first half of the season. They don’t have that now and they are playing with freedom for someone who might not even be there next season.

As soon as the workload of managing European games starts next season their problems and lack of depth in the squad which they have paid a lot of money for will be exposed again.

It's the other clubs that really piss me off, they knowingly pander to these corrupt bastards wishes and never question it once.
I have no sympathy with the likes of Villa Everton Newcastle etc they deserve everything they get.

I will never understand the voting system in the Premeir league and why the other 18 clubs back United ?
United don't give a shit about football or others. They will take everything and then offer nothing back

Parachute payments are their only guarantee the smaller clubs get from the voting system, United use this rule to scare the smaller clubs by i dare you to vote against us,

Stockholm Syndrome for football clubs!

Boro haven't looked back since binning off Carrick, and from what I've heard their fans were glad to see the back of him.

He did a decent job in his first part-season, as they were in the relegation places, when he took over, but it was gradually downhill after that.

Finished 4th, then 8th then 10th before they got rid last summer.
Boro have had 2 managers this season and are now in an automatic promotion position 4 points clear of their nearest challenges with 12 games to go.
I hope Omar Swales and our other cast off Wilcox listen to the Rags giddy fans and their equally clueless media lickspittles and give Carrick the job.

Clueless ones like this...

It's absolutely incredible that they owe other clubs around £500M in unpaid transfer fees but hardly anything gets said about that
Love to know which players they still owe fees for, at a guess I’d say Antony and jaded
But that would only account for 100m tops
I can’t see that 1.3b ever getting paid back
The glazers will include it in the sale price
When they eventually sell.

I see the protests about their ownership are going to be huge today. Mass protest walk from Manchester into Trafford, not taking seat to the 13th minute (symbolism of 1.3b debt), no wearing of anything red, black or white, protest petition demanding that the glazers pay-off the debt then sell the club to the fans for the cost of a season ticket each, blocking entrance to the megastore with lines 10 deep before, during and after the match…

Sorry, my bad, I’d woken up in the moral universe this morning, not the ‘were 4th and winning again reverse ferret’ reality universe.
