Well as long as they've contacted Forest to let them know, that's all that matters...

Reality is it probably doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things but the point is, it could be vital and the same horrendous decision would still have been made and nothing is done about it.

Imagine if Forest were half a dozen points worse off and that decision sends them down. With that level of incompetence, there has to be consequences, not sticking him in the championship for a week kind of thing either.

The ref has shown he cannot do his job so he shouldn't be doing it. If I was a bus driver that crashed straight into the building before ever getting out of the depot on my first day, I'm not expecting to still be a bus driver after that.

This shouldn't descend into another crazy conspiracy about United, if they were intend on aiding United, they wouldn't pick a game that changes nothing to do something like that, it would be in a game with something on the line. the incompetence of the officials is the issue here and should remain the focus.

Why do you rule out corruption, when the rags get the benefit of so many dubious decisions ?

PL/PGMOL conspire to effect outcomes on a regular basis , but US owned clubs are their priority .
I'm not. But I think a loud and noisy investigation is well overdue, in fact as a supporter I would demand it, to protect our game.

The premier league are clear that our game isn't corrupt. But all they offer is a statement on their website. I think we all deserve a bit more than that. What do they do to actively protect the game? Are there really zero attempts to influence the game, given the huge sums involved, or are some thwarted? Or, as more bad more suspect, is our game riddled with controlled influence?

Its mental, Stevie Wonder could see that goal should have been ruled out. They spend so much time looking into things in a certain way and trying to apply flawed logic, when all they need to do is step back and think "he's controlled the ball with help from his arm, that is not allowed. No goal".

Yeah

Anyway all I said was 20 assists is still impressive and it ie, regardless of open play or not.

Never said he was as good as KDB, of course he's not, never had anywhere the consistency or ability

Only a dishonest shithouse would downplay it and say its not a good achievement as a standalone achievement just because he plays for the rags.

That's your opinion only, as far as I can see.

The rags get the benefit of so many dubious calls, that many of his "assists" are more likely to come from piss poor calls by the refs as a consequence of dubious free kicks, non-corners etc .

You carry on kissing his mard arse but don't expect many other to be duped so easily.
The reason only 3 players have reached 20 assists in over 30 years of the league is because it's very difficult to do!

First time I've seen that and honestly, it's quite clear cut that it should not have stood. The laws of the game a clear for all to see, like them or not, and so was the ball hitting his hand.

VAR not to blame on this one, it's all on Salisbury. What did he give as the reason for his decision on the field? Not enough hand?

It's worrying that this season we clearly see some officials going against the black and white laws, and others greying the text, when there really is no apparent need to justification to do it.

The premier league states it has anti corruption initiatives on place. I'm not suggesting clear corruption here , but I think it's time they showed what's behind those words and, given the value and stature of the premier league, the monies involved, I do think now is the time to launch a full, transparent, independent, investigation into potential corruption in the English game. Would be one hell for a documentary if they had cameras following the investigation, I bet Amazon Prime could market the hell out of that. If they find nothing, fantastic.
Didn't he give as his reason for allowing the goal that Mbuemo's arm was in a natural position? It was like the goal we had disallowed against Spurs in the last minute because the ball had merely brushed our lad's arm. Similar incident, same rule very different decision.

Just saw a full video of all of his assists, and while there are some decent deliveries later on, there are so many where literally anyone could have done it.

There's literally one where he taps the ball to a teammate from a free kick and he rifles it into the top corner, and that counts as an assist. I'm not one to just dismiss the value of decent set piece delivery, but it's not even as if he shows that. His assists from a corner are just him floating it to the back post and someone else doing well to score from it. It's not like he's delivering incredible corners like Bukayo Saka or something.

You mean the PL whose CEO was exclusively chosen by rags and dippers, who since then has gone on to carry out a crusade against City, and Newcastle, also because the US cunts were moaning about possibly being out spent. The same US clubs who have formed a cartel and help push whatever corrupt attempts the PL try to implement in order to affect/hinder the operations of City ?

Masters and others at the PL including Mai Fyfeild , who just happens to be a Sky executive with a vested interest, are corrupt and PGMOL reps being their paid accomplices so important in being able to effect desired outcomes

The US owned clubs are no doubt pissed because City have been too good for the PL/PGMOL's best efforts to stifle.

The PL appear to have decided that Arsenal are going to win, as the disallowed goal for West Hame clearly showed, plus all the clear fouls they have carried out with corners, free kicks etc, and not 1 red card !

Absolutely corrupt and blatant with it !

Not saying he's as good as Kev. Not close.

But equalling the assists record is impressive. We will be giving it the big 'un if Cherki does it.
To be honest I couldn't care less about the 'assists' statistic or XG or XGA etc etc. All dreamt up in the spirit of US sports like baseball. I just like watching good football and Fernandes isn't even in the top ten of Untied's players such as Scholes or Cantona etc

You’re obviously correct, possibly because you have the advantage of distance and perspective, but you’re on a hiding to nothing saying it on here, mate.

Football ability aside, which is required, he is a sniveling rodent, mardarse, dead ball merchant and half his assists were from referee-gifted goals which shouldn’t have counted. Did I mention he is a referee intimidator, too?

Get with the program and you’ll get “LIKE” instead of “Fuck off!” responses!

Personally, I’m not sure about the FWA Award, but I’d much rather it not go to any Arsenal players, as I don’t think there’s been a stand out players for them.

Given the turnaround in United’s season, and his record contribution, he was bound to get lots of votes from the red-loving meedya.

I’d be interested to see how the voting broke out and who the Top 5 were. For me, Bernardo had been the most outstanding player I have seen this season, but then I’ve watched every minute of every game he’s played…and may have blue-tinted specs on!

Why diminish his accomplishment with a load of whataboutism and qualification?

The stat is the stat.

On another note, I see the rag mardarses have been bleating to the FA , because City wouldn't move the youth final to the swamp and thus benefit the cunts, yet again.

Now the FA are considering making a rule that the club/team drawn out first and getting to play the final must play it at their senior ground.

Everything involving the rag cunts is entitled and over-hyped !

Plus: The CEO of the premier league proudly announced that "there are systems in place to ensure a new name on the trophy each year"

How exactly does he propose to do that without pulling some strings?
