I’ve seen Real Madrid play within themselves because they were terrified of the Etihad atmosphere.

More than one Madrid player has gone on record to say the Etihad had the best away atmosphere they’d ever experienced.

Truth is that for the big games the atmosphere will often be there - including at City.

The Anfield atmosphere is built on the golden years of the 1970s, many teams are beaten before they kick a ball, Teams going to Liverpool listen to the media hype that feeds them this shit. I would walk the players into Anfield right through the welcome outside, pretty much like the New Zealand haka dance before the kick off, it's to terrify and intimidate you.

It's the one thing Pep buckles under, and it's always respect them. WHY when they spit in your face and do anything to intimidate you before kick off

Hilarious club. All the big hoo-ha last season about Amorim overhauling the squad and subsequently alienating the likes of Rashford and Garnacho with his "my way or the highway". All they've done is signed Cunha and this Mbeumo deal seems to be dead in the water, even moreso if Newcastle takes Wissa from Brentford.

Usually, you can count on United to way overpay for a desperate deal come end of the window, but I wouldn't count on that with the penny pincher in charge now.
Scruffy Jim has also scrapped 10% discount in club shop for season ticket holders …….where will it end ?

Still owe other clubs 300m+ in past transfer fees.... 1 bill in debt , 1 million a week in wages being spent on 5 players who've been told they're not needed/wanted........and its us ruining football lol
There really should be a limit on monies owed to other teams before future buying, not just for the rags but for all clubs.

If a team go pop the cash owed to lesser sides could also bring them down too.

And yet their home record during that period wasn’t as good as ours during our best years.

I can confirm the anfield myth is true, why?
I work with the dippers and they constant complain how quiet the crowd are these days, I’ve asked them this exact question takin the piss out of em.
They all say the same thing, it’s full of tourists just like all the other top teams
Obviously when they are playing the likes of us Everton and the scum they are more up for it but for games where they usually always win it’s quiet 80 percent of the time
Not my words theirs.

Anyone seen that stat? For 80 years, they've had at least one player in every single match day squad that started out there.

Obviously in the early days players were often local anyway, so that's hardly a surprise. We know Sir Alex always liked bringing young players through but I'm actually more surprised it's continued since they've been shite and loaded the squad up with mediocre foreign players.

Still, every game in 80 years, that's some stat.
They tried to class John O'Shea as homegrown despite the fact he was signed on professional terms from Irish club Waterford as a 17 year old.

Yet another Rag lie that was debunked a long time ago.
