One Rag who I’ve always thought was sound for decades basically (as indeed he was when we were shite) has started coming out with football is finished, all about money, PSR etc -they can’t handle it
What they can't handle is not being on the top of the tree anymore.

It's killing them and bewildering them in equal measures. They didn't sign up for this shit.

I remember meeting a few cockney rags in the earlier 90s, when I lived in London. I would ask them: "what are you doing supporting the rags when you've got a perfectly good football team on your doorstep?"

They would reply with the same rhetoric "welw they're the best club in the league ain't they"

I often wonder which club they're supporting now.

from the BBC - Signed by Stevie Wonder?

German goalkeeper Stefan Ortega, 32, could now stay at Manchester City at least until January after Trabzonspor, the Turkish club he was linked to, decided to sign Manchester United's 29-year-old Cameroon international Andre Onana instead. (Manchester Evening News, external)

At 50M Euros, Onana was the 4th most expensive goalie of all time when they signed him only 2 years ago and they finished 15th in the league with him last season. The cunts are fuckin clueless - I can't wait to see this Lammens guy exposed behind that useless defence and midfield; he'll be another young footballer needing therapy very, very soon.

Live that down you scummy red twats - Onana cost you more than Ederson!

Andre Onana Onana, apparently - so shit they named him twice! (I love it)

Many can't cope with "the weight of the shirt" apparently
I've heard the media brandishing that phrase around.

Weight of the shirt?........ weight of the shirt, my arse.

This is a club, who were knocked out of the second round of the EFL Cup, by Grimsby Town.
The funny thing about that wasn't their defeat, it's that I've yet to meet someone who was surprised by it.

This is a club that finished 15th in the Premier League last season, and will not play one minute of European football this season.

This is a club (depending on the outcome of their first game in the FA Cup) that could potentially play only forty games this season.

Biggest club in the world?

I would find it hilarious if Onana wins the golden glove and Rasmus the golden boot this season.
I wouldn't be at all surprised.

How many times have we seen players leave that cesspit of a club and go onto flourish.

What I find criminal isn't the fact players come alive once they exist that museum, it's the complete radio silence from the media that is indefensible.

That's the fucking news right there. Not some boyhood fan, who's been duped into signing for a club that was relevant about twenty years ago.

It's pretty obvious to me that the swamp has quite literally become the elephants graveyard for players with potential.

If the rags don't get their shit together in the next five years, they will be competing with the Saudi league to sign players.

Imagine it. You're a player in your mid twenties and you get two offers; one from Saudi who will pay you £400,000.00 per week and one from the rags who will match it, plus they can offer you premier league football, EFL & FA cup competitions (European football will still be a bit of a stretch for them).

I'm sure he was comfortable about the money when they were hoovering up every player in England? Breaking records for Camel Gob and the Granny Shagger. Yep, I bet he was ok with that. Sounds like a typical fucking Rag who can't handle being shit

That's pretty much the top and bottom of it.

It's amazing how the money is ruining it for them now.

I would have a modicum of respect for them if they just admitted, it and said: "I didn't sign up for this shit, I wanted to be associated with a successful outfit".

It would be nice to see them go
