its an american thing what ive readSo, basically, United were exploring selling at £4000 for 30 years, the right to sell-on individual games of the additionally bought season ticket for a specific guaranteed immovable seat.
If you didn’t buy/renew the season ticket each season, the £4000 is not returned in part, and is effectively lost.
a £4000 way of raising money, when you could just have bought a season ticket, and relied on the goodwill of the club in not moving you - if it meant that much to you.
A way of bringing in more day trippers/personal money makers whilst gaining an extra £4000 upfront per seat.
