Biting the hand that fed them.To be fair, we should be doing the same
FFS, they'd have been relegated last season if it wasn't for refs and var making 'mistakes'.To be fair, we should be doing the same
Signing Howard Webb up was an investment that reaps more points than the rags players will ever achieve if reliant upon their actual abilities
instead, they're overpaying mediocre ones. It's starting to feel like players have stopped joining United because they are united. This was still happening through a lot of their struggles in the 10's, but for past 5 years or so they've been shopping at the same store as spurs.
Them not even having a sniff at semenyo feels really telling to me. They can't even overpay top players to get them to come anymore.
Great business model
Usually over this period we're all moaning about tv meaning we're playing games over a shorter span than other top clubs, well we've got nicely spaced games and as it's City first I'm prepared to let them have Boxing Day and look at the bigger picture.I can’t believe that rags are the only game on Boxing Day - a day which was traditionally a day of football for all teams. As I’ve said before there’s something odd about the fact a mediocre mid table team are constantly on TV.
I’ve sent the following to the PL but any suggestions to which other organisation I can send it to as a complaint? Feel free to copy and send - the more complaints the better
Dear Sirs
Boxing Day football is a tradition in this country. WHY have you only allowed one PL match on that day?
Even more concerning is that the club chosen is Manchester United who are NOT one of the top clubs in England & haven’t been for years - despite your efforts to keep them topical.
I say this because UNBELIEVABLY up until beginning of February, United will have had EVERY one of their last ELEVEN matches on TV. Most of them when there are no other matches on TV to watch.
I know they are in huge debt and have a decaying stadium etc etc but why should other fans have to watch this team week in week out to the exclusion of their own club - most of which are much better to watch??
There is something going on in the background because you are doing your best to ensure Utd get global coverage (on the mistaken belief that most countries have more Utd fans - which is an old belief & no longer true)
They need money and to stay relevant and you are clearly doing your best to help them.
WHY?
Yours faithfully
11 games on the run though????Usually over this period we're all moaning about tv meaning we're playing games over a shorter span than other top clubs, well we've got nicely spaced games and as it's City first I'm prepared to let them have Boxing Day and look at the bigger picture.
Over the season they're on lots of Monday's too but, that's because they're a big tv draw and every decent team is still in domestic cups/Europe.
We can't have it every way.
TV draw, just look at the cup games as well, better viewing figures for rags v acme than acme v acme.11 games on the run though????
they;ll all follow dont worry about thatThis may have already been posted.
Talking to a Rag season ticket holder yesterday. Apparently if they can’t make a game and want to sell it back to the club (like our ticket exchange) they are now charged £10 for the privilege
Sky and TNT Sports are other organisations you could send this to.I can’t believe that rags are the only game on Boxing Day - a day which was traditionally a day of football for all teams. As I’ve said before there’s something odd about the fact a mediocre mid table team are constantly on TV.

Sent it to Sky. Not easy as you have to fill in one of their “forms” as opposed to being able to email a complaint. Anyway, it’s doneSky and TNT Sports are other organisations you could send this to.
