Aston Villa right up our arses now, and playing well ...... I can't believe we had that Morgan Rogers on our books for over three years, and didn't give him a proper chance ..... all we did was loan him to three clubs , and then fkn sold him !

Lookin at his age, the form he's in now, and the goals he's scoring, that has to go down as yet another major clanger dropped by City.
ok

Look at the players we had, the trophies we won!
He clearly had the potential, otherwise he wouldnt have been wanted by City in the first place ...... we should have done more to convince him that his future lay here, he didnt come here to be moved around the country .... how must loaning him out to three clubs have made him, and his parents feel ??

We should have properly monitored him in our academy sides, and moved him towards our first team squad accordingly ....

City didn't sell him to Boro until 2023 ..... the likes of David Silva had gone, and KDB and Bernardo were probably getting itchy feet and making noises about leaving by then.

Shoulda, woulda, coulda, in case you havent noticed we've done okay without him and remind me what has he won again.

The short term thinking and subsequent wailing by some city fans is draining sometimes.

Read the link a few pages back. He admitted himself he wasn’t good enough at the time to make it at City and had lost his way

This is about the long term , not the short term ..... Villa have probably got a top class player for the next ten years there !

A player we had ....

You say that, but City must have seen something in him in the first place ..... we have had a reputation for signing top kids from other clubs for some years now.q

He came from West Brom. He says he realised he wasn’t good enough at that stage of his development. Obviously kids develop at different ages, he realised he wasn’t cutting it and of his 3 loan periods away from the club only one helped him get his head right.

This, in case you hadn't noticed, is the rag thread, so please take your nonsense elsewhere if you don't mind.

Hope so mate.

Just think the others having 3 games a week is going to cost most of them in the end.

The PL have a lot of teams in Europe this year and most will go deep in all competitions.

United have benefitted greatly from only playing once a week with a relatively decent size squad that has enough quality in it to get top 5.

Luckily they are massively underperforming and have a manager who looks well out of his depth.
Teams do not have three games a week.

so what do you suggest we keep every acadamy player just incase
I suggest we take a bit more time, and look a bit more closely at the ones that we do bring here ..... sending him to three loan clubs, and then flogging him, was only sending the wrong message to a talented lad that had agreed to join our academy because he wanted to be here.

Echeverri is another .... he's been sent on loan to Germany and isn't getting any game time .... how's that helping him, or us ??? CIty are angry about it yet its they who have agreed to it in the first place !
