Just watching this now. I fucking detest the **** and would love to golf club him to the nose. Completely does my head in how he uses their full name every time he mentions them.

I say this every time, because I'm convinced the odds are they'll get something right eventually if they keep throwing money and new people at the problem, but Southgate could give them a culture change like he did with England, and that would probably set up the next guy to do better.

Solskjaer did pretty well just by being a positive vibes guy and getting the players to enjoy it a bit. Better than a lot of well respected trophy winning managers.

Liverpool, Everton and United are the only clubs that do it. Everton's is a lot less grating because it's sort of ironic and obviously they're Everton so everything about them is less grating than those 2.
 
A quick look on Red Caf confirms 99% of them are genuinely mad. There's very few serious opinions about the type of manager they should be looking for, instead promoting completely insane suggestions of Fletcher assisted by either McKenna, Carrick, RVN or Butt (DNA) until Zidane, Conte or Simeone takes over but if DF gets Top 4 he gets the job.

Also Blanc or Southgate or Xavi as caretaker til the end of the season (with "Fletch" as assistant as he knows the club) and best of all Ole the Gunnar (with possibly Red Nev) assisting as they played most like Utd DNA under him. Give me strength.

The biggest problem that the Rags have is that they want success immediately. They are not prepared to build season on season. Every one of the thirteen managers has been expected to deliver the same silverware that Ferguson amassed. If you listen to Gary Nutter he is a classic example of a Rag who inhabits the past. They don't realise that football has moved to a completely different level. The squads that the Rags had would not necessarily win what they did were they to take the field today. They certainly wouldn't get the 'leg ups' they used to get. I can still see the QPR player sent off for fouling Ash the Crash where there was clear daylight between them. Won't be long before it turns into one of those films - Carry On United!
 
I appreciate clicking on it gives the **** a few more quid, but listen to the DNA bollocks he’s coming out with already about a new manager coming to United, and what the new manager should know about United.
