I’m in various WhatsApp groups with both blues and reds, across work, former work colleagues, former fantasy football groups, 5 a side football I used to play, my cricket club, two stag do groups and even a family one with my brother in law who’s a Red.

When we pumped them 3-0 the other month = silence. The blues in all these groups just ignore them. When they lost to Grimsby, 10-man Everton, drew with Wolves, West Ham etc. = silence… since Saturday and then again last night, my phone has been pinging from them mouthing off.

Make no mistake about it, we’ve killed them the last 15 years, they’ve been seriously hurting and it’s intensified over the 4x in a row and The Treble. They’re gutted when we win and skulk off under their rocks, waiting for a poor run or to beat us so they can have a week or two in the sunshine.

Sad pathetic losers who thought picking the biggest and best club in the country in the 90s would give them endless satisfaction, only for it to bite them on the arse and burn them with bitterness.

The 115 result might finish a few off football for good.

When we beat them with the likes of Keegan, Pearce and Erickson in charge we enjoyed the win in its isolation. Exactly.....dad and brother are reds. (I thank my mum and auntie/uncle for being a a blue) I took a stance to say absolutely jack all about United on group chats, unless they bring it up and I very rarely take the piss. Dont have to, to be honest.

But my brother.....wow its hard to bite my tongue. No matter who City play...if we concede or get beat its gif this, gif that of the opposition.
