Ffs. Why did he have to say what he said because one of my favourite threads has gone all fucking screachy politics. This place will be infested with politics now for months.

I am assuming that the Circus project is dead in terms of government support and Jim Ratcliffe knows it and was happy to speak out in such a provocative way. Starmer and Burnham are also happy to slag off Ratcliffe because it plays well with their base and especially Muslim voters. Ratcliffe, Burnham, and Starmer are all opportunist wankers who will say anything if they think it will further their own status. The deserve each other. They are all total twats.
 
I can’t see Ratcliffe walking around the communities he condemns, hell, he doesn’t even live here. So my only assumption can be that he has got this view from looking around the Swamp and seeing all those faces.

Nothing like kicking yourself in the bollocks.

They are bound to get stick when away and from away fans at the Swamp but it will be interesting to see what rag fans response is when he shows his face at home games.

Given the distances most of their fans travel from their residences to Manchester for Red Filth home games that about sums them up.

(PS.. as I've said on here and elsewhere several times, one penny of the taxpayer's ackers diverted under a Labour government to building the New Swamp for those twunts and I'm handing in my party membership after 55 years..)
