His lawyer said the road was "clear"
And "Our client further states that he believes where the speeding took place was at a point where the road was broad and there was little prospect of being any contact with any vulnerable road users such as pedestrians."
Besides "he was rushing to take a friend to the railway station."
He was only doing 2.5 times the speed limit in a built up residential are given all that he should have faced nothing further than a speed awareness course!

I got done for doing 46mph on Shaftesbury Avenue in Timperley which has a 40mph limit. Bright day no other traffic but no excuses I just was tootling along without a care in the world. Not done it since so the 3 points and fine has had the desired effect.
 
They will pick up results playing like this and then start expecting to actually play progressive football and then they will go through the same motions they have done for 10 years. It is a cycle at this point

I said at the start of the season they should go for a Moyes type of manager and just accept the type of team they suit to be, and I still mean it. The Carrick gloss will soon be over when they get sick of every result being lucky escapes caused by individuality on the counter and then the toxicity will set in again as they sink on the table

I get so confused over this ! As I wrote on the Chase thread yesterday.
Even Jenny the chaser from Bolton git the question wrong.
What City is the Coronation Street tour in ? Jenny said Salford. Brady said wrong ! The opponents said Manchester, Brady said correct.
Personally I think the Chase got that wrong.

Ditto! My ex and I were both done just before the kettle o fish within the space of 2 weeks in 2004. A right hotspot that is. But like you say, you learn and calm down.

I saw this and thought the same so I googled it. It says stretford is in Trafford which is greater Manchester. The Tour isn't actually in Salford, fuck knows where the border runs, I'm assuming North of the canal is Salford and south is Manchester.

This 100%. Let them have their 10 minutes in the limelight, get champs league then give Carwreck his big contract. Rinse n repeat. The shit will slowly but surely start to hit the fan when next clubs start working them out next season, and then we'll see another fucker who's badly out of his depth. It's the nitet way!

Yes, it's grin and bear it at the moment. It would be handy if they finished just outside the CL places and he still got the job.

I've edited my post with a bit more info the tour is at Salford quays but their address is Trafford Park so Manchester.
Edit again, if you go on media cities website it says they are in Salford so fuck knows.!!
