These **** have employed client journalists for fucking years. Ever since the Munich air disaster they've had journalists queuing up, willing to get on their knees and humiliate themselves for a few quid. The shit they've had buried or positively spun over the years sickens me.

This is absolutely ridiculous and a perfect example of the rags cheating. Most of us with any knowledge or experience of football looking at the challenge on Diallo would say...."that's soft. Could be a pen, but not stonewall". Not a goal scoring opportunity.
VAR is there to correct clear and obvious errors, not re referee the game. Like I've explained above it could have gone either way so VAR couldn't say it was a clear mistake, hence no penalty.

They do it because next time the referee will blow for a pen like they do most of the time! Think they were in pure shock the referee never gave it!

My wife was watching the Wellington Phoenix A-league last night while I was making dinner. I overheard the commentator mention that Phoenix has scored from FOURTEEN dead ball situations this season. Perhaps we should pinch their dead ball coach as he is obviously miles better than ours.
