Odd that they didn't use the last few days to go away for warm weather training.
Ordinarily, they'd be halfway around the world at the drop of a hat, with Slimy Simon breathlessly reporting on how all the locals are now all dyed in the wool reds.
I know the chaos in Iran might have put a cork on any plan to go to say, Thailand but, given they could easily have gone to Spain or North Africa, it does feel like it waa a financial decision tp stay in the rain, wind and sleet at Carrington.
They’ve been to Chaddy baths everyday practicing their diving

They are in some fancy hotel / leisure complex in Ireland at the moment. Also promoting a summer fixture friendly against Leeds to take place in Croke Park

This was on the news.

“What’s the crowd for,” asked the man delivering a van load of fish. " Manchester United are staying here.” “Jaysus! Must be their first time in Europe this season.”

Very good.

Had to take a pay cut to get that one year extension, the poster boy for the demise of the rags. Could have signed for City, got his agent to demand big wages and City looked elsewhere.

If he was good enough to play in Citys system until now he could have had 5 x premier league titles, a champions league not to mention being part of a historic treble, four in a row, a domestic quadruple and world club champions.

Ha! ha! ha! they're stuck with Car wreck now aren't they?

Players coming out saying that they want him as the new manager.

They bring in somebody new now and the players start the 'losing the dressing room' pantomime once again before the ink is dry on his contract.

They'll have more games next year as it is, and, that squad of players + the latest round of £80 million players bought for £40 million will be even funnier than recent years as next season progresses.

He is not the manager the GPC is.

They still have a technically inferior team which relies heavily on set pieces and long balls. A sort of poor man’s Arsenal. They will have to replace most of the squad to have any chance of success. And they can’t afford it.

Have these fuckers been relegated, must be the biggest break ever in a season. No monies coming in either loving it.
