I'm enjoying the "stick or twist" loop they are in. Exactly the same as when they left Ole at the wheel. Everyone knows Carrick's a shit manager but he's qualified for the money league.

If they sack him and the next incumbent doesn't do better, i.e. win the league, the fans will be revolting again. If they keep him, it will doubtless go tits-up and they'll still be revolting. It's wonderful to watch.
It is amusing to watch but his track record since he got the interim job is pretty good so I can't see how Untied would drop him for someone else, as they say football is a results based business and he's been getting the results. I think he'll struggle next season but so would anyone else IMHO.

This is why the media lick the scums arse ? Again, United and Fergie are thinking they are above everybody else

If PiGMOL let Arsenal win the league this season, I reckon it'll be the swamp donkeys turn for a helping hand next season.

If memory serves me correctly, after Keegan left us and Pearce took charge, he had a tremendous run towards the end of that season. Thereafter, his results and quality of football were turgid. Here's hoping for a repeat with the rags....

Their new home shirt is a shocker.
It’s a bit like when we had input to design the new City badge, people loaded it up with every nod to the past.
I can only presume the gap in the sleeve stripes is awaiting a sleeve sponsor …announcement or maybe there’s ’no value in the market’ à la Chelsea front of shirt in the past few years, so they’re hanging on hoping someone steps in… because it makes the design even worse without one, on the long sleeve shirts!

they'll just get unbeaten horseface back

Absolute piss take that Carrick is on the manager of the season shortlist. Maybe I should be on it too then for managing to take a dump?

Fifteen games he's been in charge. No midweek games to contend with, didn't they even go a whole month without playing a game? Including three games where opponents were down to ten men.

Player power gets it way, kicks out the old boss, and they get an immediate boost from players suddenly deciding to keep their toys on the pram for a while, before falling into the same old turgid performances by April? And that's manager of the season material?

I guess if anything it goes to show how poor the league has been in general. Arteta is over reliant on bullying and loopholes, take away his set piece goals and he's not winning even a coin toss. Pep will always be compared to more glorious seasons, and thereafter you're down to the likes of premier league debutations who at least have a full season behind them.

If we win it I'd give it Pep. Otherwise Keith Andrews. But Carrick? Stinks of raggy syndrome this, just like when any old English player gets into their starting eleven, as night follows day the international cap comes, never to be repeated once he's been flogged off to Sunderland.

Mainoo is the current holder of this dubious crown.
I’m sure Heaven will also be on the plane to the WC - can’t say I’ve seen him play, but I’ve read the hype machine arse licking.
Mainoo I have seen multiple times and the ball is either going over him or past him when the opposition have the ball. When United have the ball, the game just bypasses him as well.
He’s a bit like Mcpointy… just without the pointing.
