Pretty good signing for the rags, unfortunately. No doubt he'll flop over there though!
Thanks for the reply. I am doing it from a place of informed knowledge as I said in my post. I had an extra charge for a name change for the Villa game which in the end didn't happen but I have not received a refund. Which, as I said is my dilemma. I get a lower percentage over 65 discount in Joes than my mate does in the old level 3, or whatever level it is now. This started when the seats were taken off supporters to start Joes and 93.20 years ago, those supporters were told pay the extra for Joes or relocate. Regards the parade I should have put 'end of parade' as I was aware you could go on route to watch the bus go past. My point was the charge for end of parade which is usually free. Another reason I considered it money grabbing was it was open to anyone, you didn't have to be a season ticket holder to purchase a ticket. The action by the supporters groups were a major factor, in my opinion, of the club not increasing prices, and more power to their elbow if they have to do it again. I think that action was a direct result of them thinking the match going supporters were being shafted. City are looking at ways to increase and maximise revenues on an ongoing basis, I have been at a meeting with club officials and outside marketing firms, American, where the sole topic was how to get more from match going fans. I think we will have to agree to disagree about City not being as bad as other clubs in fleecing match going fans when they think they can get away with it. Just as a footnote, I personally am concerned the way football is going with the MSM leading the way, broadcasters, tv, radio and newspapers becoming fanzines for certain clubs the PL bringing in rules to protect certain clubs, then charging others with things certain clubs get away with. The refereeing standards and the blatant disregard of the laws of the game, FA Cup handball by Henderson, the headbutt by Gabriel and many more that dont involve City, West Hams disallowed goal. The mismanagement by the PL, allowing certain clubs to rule the roost at the expense of the majority of clubs is now seeing the golden goose of TV revenue devalued to the point that more games are nowCity haven’t “followed suit” and shafted our over 65s yet, which is why the supporters trust, City Matters, 1894, the Foodbank crew and other fan campaigns are so important
I’m sure they would love to, but they probably realise they wouldn’t get away with it given the last 12 months of friction
And tbf there were plenty of opportunities to view the parade without paying, as thousands of blues did, and had a great day in the sunshine
They need watching and scrutinising, but at least do it from a place of informed knowledge
I thought they'd accumulated an assortment of mind-blowing debts since the Glazers takeover (courtesy of a certain foul-mouthed, bullying dictator from north of the border). Have I imagined it? Because somehow or other, they are still spending millions and millions of pounds they simply don't have.
If anybody can give me the number of their accountants, I'd be much obliged. You see, I'd like an Aston Martin Vanquish, 5.2-litre, twin-turbo V12, a 17-bedroomed mansion in the countryside, with 2 or 3 luxury swimming pools and a staff of 100 to keep things running smoothly.
According to the resident 'PlayStation' managers in the transfer forum, when we were linked to him, he's the best Brazilian to have ever kicked a ball !!He is terrible. Even in the Italian pub league his stats are sub-standard. He is slow and ponderous. He can’t even get in the Brazil team. Worse than Fred who was a laughing stock. Well done to the rags.
Those same guys masquerade as the ghosts of Sir Alf Ramsey in the Matchday Thread.According to the resident 'PlayStation' managers in the transfer forum, when we were linked to him, he's the best Brazilian to have ever kicked a ball !!
But, but he only wanted United as he was a boyhood fan, dream move for him etc etc.![]()
Manchester United transfer news: Ederson can adapt to the Premier League and be flexible for Michael Carrick
Manchester United’s move for Atalanta midfielder Ederson is a sensible signing, argues Adam Bate. With insight from speaking to his former coach in Brazil, we assess what sort of player he is and why there is hope that he can adapt under Michael Carrick at Old Traffordwww.skysports.com
Who?
Just look at all the big clubs the red mardarses beat to get his signature.....
Even Sky are struggling to go overboard with this one. “Sensible signing”.![]()

Yep! Jacobs of Hawksby & Jacobs Talksport insisted the other day that Arsenal will be twice as good next season followed by Utd who he thinks will challenge. We, in his opinion will be a distant third. Many others in the Meja believe in this Rag hype and the guru that is their new manager.I know I'm preaching to the converted here, but can aleady feel the momentum building in the media for the upcoming season.
Think the main aim this season from the powers that be, has been to make sure Arsenal made it over the line for the League title, especially as the Dippers were out of it by New Year.
But, believe me, that effort is now going to be directed at the Rags, and get them and Arsenal going neck and neck at the top.
They'd rub it in big time if we started to struggle from the off, so hopefully that won't happen!
thats like the commentators thinking they influence the game when rags apply a bit of pressure by hoofing ball forwardI know I'm preaching to the converted here, but can aleady feel the momentum building in the media for the upcoming season.

Two old dodderers talking shite, amazed theyve lasted so long.Yep! its a dead two/ three hours where they cant sensationalise what was in papers and then repeat to different audience at tea time. so need some drivel to fill inTwo old dodderers talking shite, amazed theyve lasted so long.
It's the disappointment that kills themYep! Jacobs of Hawksby & Jacobs Talksport insisted the other day that Arsenal will be twice as good next season followed by Utd who he thinks will challenge. Yep. Webb and company know their beloved rags have been away from the top table for far too long, so now, with a good ol' former rag in charge (and the dippers and the Tarquins having been sufficiently fed and watered), the banquet can begin in earnest. We'll see utterly bizarre and downright comical decisions being made, ensuring the rags get the three, or now and again, the two points to keep them up there. But, believe me, that effort is now going to be directed at the Rags, and get them and Arsenal going neck and neck at the top.
He was mentioned a while ago as a target for City Wilcox and Berrada muscle memoryHe is terrible. Even in the Italian pub league his stats are sub-standard. He is slow and ponderous. He can’t even get in the Brazil team. Worse than Fred who was a laughing stock. Well done to the rags.
