Both teams in good form. United seem difficult to score against.
Should be a challenge for the lads.

I am sure we will see a totally different team against the scum (from the team that won 8-2) considering the Schalke game is the following day, and most of our standout players who would normally play in the under 18's will be playing against the Germans.

It's going to be quite a challenge for Jason Wilcox under the circumstances.

Why should it be a challenge - there are some excellent 1st year scholars that will make sure the scum have a lot of defending to do.

They have kept 6 clean sheets on the trot and could have scored a hatful in FAYC the other night but had to be content with just the 3 v Hull.

Hope I'm wrong but see us as underdogs in this one.

But they have lost 5 games and are below us in the league. So why they will be favourites is beyond me.

Home advantage
In good form
Playing first choice XI (unlike City).

If odds were available my dosh would be on Rags.

From their site;

All fixtures are subject to change. Home matches will be played at the Aon Training Complex unless otherwise stated.

Hi, United fan here (not sure if United fans are allowed to post here)

We have a good defend but we're playing an attacking midfielder upfront due to the lack of natural striker (we have only 1 in the whole squad, who is injured and not exactly a world beater). Can't see us scoring many against you lot unless Demetri Mitchell plays (he's injured but already back in full training).

Don't forget mate 5 players who played in the Youth cup are in the EDS and have'nt played in the U18s league.

Happy to concede if that's the case :)

The run of wins and clean sheets they've run up still concerns me though.
Seems that their standout players are Mensah, Gibblin and Rashford.

Good luck to the lads.

United fans are always welcome to post here. I'll just say that you should remember that you're in City's house so if you insult the curtains and piss on the carpet then you should expect to be thrown out, just as if one of us visited United's house.

Always like hearing opposition fans views on their youth team

Indeed boss.

Would be interesting to see which team you put out.Heard good things about Garcia and that Norwegian kid who made the bench in the FA Cup.Kongolo was supposed to be highly rated back then in Holland as well.

Celina's great. Really talented player.

Young english lad called Nemane who has absolutely unreal pace to look out for too.
