Isn't this the straw that broke the camels back?
In a sense of damaging ones confidence/Ego in Sport, a "massive" result like this where the opponents were absolutely spanked.
It's like a world champion boxer, with a superb record, being outscored in every round, knocked down to the ground... This boxer will never be the same again - beginning to question his own abilities because of such a big defeat.
This is why Wooney has been so shit in recent years, and not just because of Turtles Tactics but because his confidence has been shot.
Added to this, every other club facing United will see the way in which they play now and have increased confidence in knowing there is a chink in their armour.
