It would make more sense to compare each player with their direct competitor, no?

It's hard to tell with Scum this season, but basing it on last night & the last derby -

CB: Berbatov OR Hernandez vs. Kompany/Lescott - We should have them bossed in the air, but both have got great movement. I reckon it's a City win.
RB: Nani vs. Zabaleta OR Boyata - The weak point. United win.
LB: Park OR Valencia vs. Kolarov - Scum win.
CM: Giggs/Scholes/Carrick (OR Anderson?) vs. De Jong/Barry/Toure (OR Milner) - Tight. Think we'll give them a serious battle in there. Scum win, though.
RW: Evra vs. Johnson. Scum win, though there's opportunities for counters there.
LW: Rafael vs. Silva. CITY WIN!!!
CF: Dzeko vs. Ferdinand/Vidic. Scum win.

Conclusion: 2-1 City (Johnson, Dzeko; Goggs).
