I'm glad my reverse psychology worked ;).
In all seriousness that today was for all of us, all of you who have supported and followed us at any point in the last 30 odd years when it wasn't good, when we were down and almost counted out, we've had struggles, we've watched that lot win every trophy under the sun and rub it in our face with Owen's goal and Rooney's CC & overhead shin, but today that was for you, that's our moment that will define our club and its future for years to come, this is the landmark day, and it's our reward for everything we've all put into the club, all the fans, staff, players from over the years for everything they did and good they tried to do in adversity, today is our day to say thank you, and everyone associated with our club did us proud today.
Sheikh Mansour, I hope you enjoyed that as much as we all did.
Thank you boys, thank you Mancini, thank you everybody, a truly unbelievable day and I'm humbled, I'm so proud of the club I support and pleased for all of you who've made sacrifices for us over the years.
