This was an awesome performance. When the rags were throwing everything but the kichen sink at us for the first 15 minutes, the defence I was watching filled me with pride, beyond anything, (almost), I saw after. Kompany is one of the best defenders I've ever seen and I've seen a few. Richards was outstanding and Clichy didn't seem to me to put a foot wrong. This Italian style of management, coupled with commitment and unbelievably gifted flair players like Balotelli and Aguero should mean we piss this league.
