Why didn't we have the usual Fergie time we might have scored 10

Been to some memorable derbies in my time until yesterday the March 1968 3-1 thrashing we gave them that night,14000blues crammed into their old scoreboard end was the best That takes some beating I must be mellowing with age was 21yo that night
Yesterday just sat there watching it on TV just gave me that feeling of utter ecstasy
Well done boys

Re: Neville on SKY yesterday

He is one of the best pundits on tv at the moment without a doubt. He clearly knows what he is talking about and for the most part has been unbiased, he conducted himself with dignity.

Re: Neville on SKY yesterday

It clearly pained him, he didn't even try to hide it. Still managed to stay professional unlike the pundit on Fox Soccer, who was clearly irritated. He actually complained angrily when some of our goals went in about how poor the rags were playing.

Re: Neville on SKY yesterday

Yes, he was fine on Sky, and paid City due credit. Equally, he's still a tosser as well.

Re: Balotelli / rag when being subbed....

That 60yr old bald MIB is quite funny when the 3rd goes in..."right that's it lets go" !

I've no problem with emotion on the box, even from the United end.

It's snide remarks that irk me more than anything, and he's not been guilty of that.

Re: Neville on SKY yesterday

He looked gutted, but to be fair to him,he's been complimentary of City nearly every time they have been on live.

He's been a class act on Sky to be honest. Yesterday was no different.

very professional since he's there, would never expect him to be like that as he was first class twat earlier

-- Mon Oct 24, 2011 5:46 pm --

Just watched the highlights on City's website....
When Balotelli walks up the steps after being subbed, the rag on the end of a row says something which attracts Ballo's attention....

Anyone any thoughts as to what it was?? (or even humourous attempts ;)

I believe his exact words were "any idea how much season tickets are at your place cos I am a glory hunting cock sucking **** and I can see that the tide has turned in your favour"
PMSL!

Superlatives wherever you look today. But the thing that really tickled me during the game was the advertising hoardings suddenly displaying MISTER POTATO CRISPS. Thought I'd landed back in the Seventies. Is this a Potato Head Rooney sponsored product?

Is anyone planning/able to create a compilation video of the goals/best bits of yesterday? Got a song i'd love to put to it but i have absolutely no idea how to put a video together. Please PM me if you're interested. Cheers lads

Shakin' Bacon unhappy, hehehe.

Sportsmail understands the United manager called his stars ‘f****** idiots’ in a rant that was followed by an instruction that senior players should report for training to pick over what went wrong. Several may play with Vidic, with Ferguson demanding immediate improvement.

And...

The defeat also ruined a night Ferguson had planned for his coaching staff. He took them to his favourite hotel, but some later went on to a nearby nightclub — where many of City’s players were out celebrating their win.
