I'm also detecting a massive amount of smugness over your new found wealth and our current financial situation. It wasn't long ago that you were all slagging Chelsea off because they "bought" the title. At least prior to winning it they were challenging and had recently won trophies. Prior to the Glazers unwanted takeover Utd were one of the richest clubs in the world built on the back of success on the field and massive support off it. Yours has been built on neither, you've won the footballing lottery that's all.
You may criticise Utd's "plastic" fans but let me assure you that the football tourists/foreigners who visit OT are also criticised by many longstanding Utd fans. However, it's the nature of the beast when you're a successful worldwide brand and don't kid yourselves that your owner doesn't want to take your club down the same path. The sheikh isn't going to continue throwing money down a bottomless pit because that's he what he's doing at present as your club is basically insolvent save for his ongoing financial assistance. At some point he's gonna want to turn a profit which will mean opening up the markets in the middle/far east which in terms of potential revenue absolutely dwarf that of the uk and Europe.
Back to the Glazers, they've sunk £250m of their own money into buying Utd (your sheikh probably has that down the back of his sofa) so obviously have a massive interest in the clubs continued success. We've already seen with Abramovich the interference that a billionnaire owner has with onfield matters, it'll be interesting to see long term what is the better ownership option.

If you had followed the purchase from the start you would know that at no point did the ADUG team mention a profit. What they said was their Business plan was to have a team who were the best in the world representing their Companies. They calculate the value from this being more important than a profit in monetary terms. It would place their brands in living rooms and bars across the world on a weekly basis. Many football fans including some City ones will not like this concept but what everyone has to face up to is that ADUG have the funds to do it. It is only a matter of the right manager and time. We now have both.

Ah, I see, interesting concept. As a matter of interest what are their brands?
