Everything being dichotomous, no in between, and what choice do fans have over who buys their club? No wonder it isn't being funded.

Speaking as a Manchester City fan, I can reassure you that I haven't had to compromise or relax my moral or ethical concerns and am managing to enjoy the sporting success too.

I think the emphasis on owners is exacerbated by tribal social media “debates”

Most billionaires have trampled on a certain section of society in some form or other.

You go to support your club, not its owners.
