Unlikely City fans

Yeah, a lot of the names listed are just celebrity City fans. I was after more random, unexpected ones. Like David Hasselhoff.

And I bet neither of them knew who the other one was.

Not sure if true, but sure I read somewhere that Peter Kenyon was a City fan. Pretty unlikely for a fromer United CEO.

Snookers Nigel Bond and I think Clive Lloyd, West Indian cricket legend. Also Kenny Dalglish Senior out of Phoenix Nights, had a good chat with him over a pie in the South Stand before a game a couple of seasons back. Chatted with Mike Pickering on the train after the Wembley Chelsea semi and Curly Watts asked us the way to West Ham several seasons back....he had some sort of 4 x 4 if I recall correctly

Think the late Caroline Ahern was a blue too

Archie Kelly, Big Blue & also one of the nicest guys to chat to (as well as being a very funny comedy actor)

Roy Harper has been mentioned a couple of times.

It is not that surprising as he was born in Rusholme.

The sleeve notes for the Album HQ (also known as When An Old Cricketer Leaves The Crease), that was released in 1975, admits that whenever City were playing in London, the whole crew abandoned recording and went to the match.
