Chatting to a wolves mate in the bar yesterday and he said their preseason was abysmal and is now worried about the city game at there’s.

Think we’re worried no matter what lol I think it helps we play you first but statistically I imagine you haven’t dropped many points first game of the season either compared to us.

A bit of an aside here, but which three City players would you choose to start the season in your fantasy team. I've gone Ait- Nouri, Doku and Foden but it's a lottery as to which 11 srart with the big clubs

It's tough one putting City players in, first you have to work out Pep roulette.

Me and the son in law enter a football blackjack every season £50 buy in large payout if you win 4 players, each have to score at least one goal nearest to 21 without going over, last season we had 3 city players in Gvardiol, Doku and Bernardo got nowhere near LOL.

It would be, of course it would! Im not angry. It’s a resignation that things won’t change. I can’t get parity or increase my points irrespective of the amount of “available” tickets.

Yeah, the Bluebrick's now closed. Was proper cagey last season as without that being open, there was no designated away pub. Managed to get in a "home fans only" one incognito and it turned out that a few familiar faces were in there but it was all low key.

Thinking of heading to Birmingham city centre first. The Villa v Newcastle game is the early kick-off so might find somewhere to watch that then head out to Molineux afterwards.

Stafford is a good place for a drink before the match only 2 stops to Wolverhampton 13 minutes. Plenty of pubs and a spoons.

Nigh on impossible to pick the right starting 11 but I'd go: Ederson, Nunes, Dias, Gvardiol, Ait-Nouri, Reijnders, Gonzalez, Bernardo, Foden, Cherki, Haaland

Subs: Trafford, Stones, O'reilly, Ake, Gundogan, Doku, Marmoush, Savinho, Lewis
