Unpleasant experience in Colin Bell Level 3 today

Comfort yourself in the fact this guy is obviously an idiot. I moved to the family stand last year for the same reason and love the fans who sit nearby. You know sometimes it's hard to rise above morons especially when your children are involved but as I say ignore the fool, at least your son saw one of the greatest forwards in the game.

Next time get yourself a ticket in the family stand and then you wont have any reason to come here whining

There were none left as I previously stated - maybe we need a bigger Family Stand especially for cup ties which we wouldnt otherwise sell out if it wasnt for the reduced prices.

He's clearly an imbecile with no respect and no idea how to behave around children.

You did the right thing telling him to turn it in and reporting him to a steward.

Ring City and ask them if any action has / will be taken and go from there.

Thanks Stoned Rose - I will put it in writing - I am sure it happens a lot but I did expect an 'oh sorry mate I didnt realise etc' - I wouldnt have bothered if my son wasnt there to be honest but sometimes you have to stand up to people or cower.

Can't be swearing in an over the top fashion when next to a 6 year old. Then to carry on after you've asked him to stop? and reported him to a steward?

Obviously either a screw loose or thinks he's Billy Big Spuds, or both.

Either way he needs telling and needs to stop it and show some respect for fellow blues.

Like you say he probably wants you know he's a die hard fan, surprised he didn't tell you how many loyalty points he has

There's always going to be a bit of swearing. I take my lads and instinctively swear at times. This though, sounds like someone thinking that he has more rights to be at the game than you and your lad and I'm sure he'll be in his bedsit tonight with his masking tape sex doll, thinking about what a hero he was today.

Tell your lad that even City have the odd plum but ignore what happened, he is the future of our support.

Thanks - have told him that and he is aware of swearing etc just not with the nastiness and oblivious type he encountered today.

-- Sat Jan 25, 2014 9:31 pm --

Idiot I mean you "johnmc"

Cheers Dawlish Dave - just feel sometimes you have to take a stand and it has put me off taking him in future - unfortunately he is also part of our future support.

The incident where Agüero was hacked down that went unpunished had me bawl out "fucking nobhead" and I immediately regretted my outburst as I had my six year old with me and there was a boy of similar age to mine in front of me. I think i got away with it as there was a loud disapproval..

Had a similar experience at the Wigan league cup game this year. As someone was sat in my usual place I went over near the corner flag where there were lots of empty seats.

Anyway this fat old man comes up and uses the kind of language scum use and all because I'm sat in his seat! If he'd have used that language to me outside he'd have been on his arse but I wasn't going to lose my season ticket for him. What was really surprising is that the two middle aged women with him didn't blink an eye at the choice word he used. We are certainly attracting a classy type of fan these days!
