Your company can’t get people to come in. Sack themSince Covid people have become lazy
You cannot get them into the office to do work
It’s as if they are doing you a favour turning up, bollocks, we are paying you
Not my companyYour company can’t get people to come in. Sack them
I work from home 3 days a week. If I’m on a late shift or a half day I can stay at home so could be in one day a week. If they were to say come in more we would have to do it. Two hours of travelling saved each day when I’m at home. Not my company
They choose the WFH option
It’s also known as agile working
Anxiety also thrown out as a reason
You may do your job also, I don’t knowI work from home 3 days a week. If I’m on a late shift or a half day I can stay at home so could be in one day a week. If they were to say come in more we would have to do it. Two hours of travelling saved each day when I’m at home.
I'm retired and never worked from home, but my son does. I think its fantastic and very good for the planet. He wouldn't achieve any more if he went into his office. I've always been of the opinion that everyone trudging to work during rush hour and then in reverse was stupid. Traffic jams and packed public transport just leads to people feeling generally pissed off (I know it did me).I work from home 3 days a week. He writes copy for online add campaigns and dreams up ideas, he speaks to Telstra shop managers about thier local add campaigns etc etc
No need to be in an office to do any of that.
