Unpopular opinions

So some random nutter who needs to get a life phones up utility companies and asks are you working from home?
What’s frightening is the police will no longer come out to help people like you.
I don’t work from home by the way.
I retired when I was 52…
In twelve months time I can see all these people who work from home claiming mental health issues because “I don’t get out of the house and never see anyone “, by the way when ringing sky to bin them off you get chatting and it naturally comes into conversation like who they support , and what they are into musically and thinks like that whilst they are trying to retain your subscription, it doesn’t make me a random nutter.

But if they are made to go back into the office, who will walk the dog, open the door for the Ocado delivery driver, go to the local shop to get the milk you forgot to order from Ocado, order cup final tickets and book flights ?

Mind you, if they are forced back into the office X Hamster would go bust.

The police won’t come out to help people like me ? They don’t come out to help anyone, they’re busy not chasing e scooters apparently and being institutionally racist , filming reality programmes, avoiding pikey camps cos they’re shit scared or sat on their arses waiting to retire at 52

The old lady across the road who is retired and at home most days! :-)

How do you know they are at home and not in an Islamabad call centre?
Because you can't hear anyone behind them. In an office you can always hear the thrum of conversation and phones ringing.
I ask them , it’s called conversation. I knew I’d get some bites from the lazy fuckers who work or worked from home :-)
Snap. I also bring it into the conversation.

The thing that bothers me about people all working from home is that the art of conversation, the interaction and socialisation between people will become a thing of the past.
