I was at a book launch of his last summer where I was taken aback at the level of worship he enjoys in the academic world. Regrettably he's a dipper, a source of constant needle between us. I'm meeting him next week; I'll pass on your obs re FINY - being a committed Marxist he enjoys far more the reaction of the general public to works of art to the intellegentsia.
