City’s continual usage of the Moon as a marketing gimmick and it’s use as part of City’s identity is shit and I wish we’d stop with it.

Manchester City Football Club have got the square root of fuck all to do with the Moon. We are the club that represents the city of Manchester, and that is what we should use as our gimmick and identity.

Even the song ‘Blue Moon’ has got nowt to do with the Moon. It’s about loneliness and not having anyone to love (the part we sing stops there) but then not being lonely anymore because you’ve unexpectedly found someone to love (we don’t sing that bit).
