A short spray of Mr Muscle followed by a rub of the keys works. Some of the keys on my desktop computer keyboard were a bit dodgy. A colleague suggested that I should wash the keyboard in a dishwasher, dry it and it should be fine. I washed the keyboard in a dishwasher, dried it and then none of the keys worked.
