Update from Vicky Kloss on The Sunday Supplement Attack

I've missed what was written in the Sunday supplement, but anyway, thanks Vicky, keep trying with the media and hopefully get the positive message out there, like how we are helping to regenerate East M/C.

It wasn`t a written paper account, but was actually on the Sky Programme on last weeks "Sunday Supplement" where football journalists (for want of better wording) voice their opinions on football matters.
On this occasion, and not for the first time,3 bloody journalists came out with nothing but slanderous remarks about the Blues. This was a full assault on the Club and thankfully action has been taken to redress the balance of truth, albeit the next time this so called journalist appears on the Programme.

Cheers for posting that; interesting read and good to see the club staying on top of the slanderous twats.

I have also set up a meeting with Brian Woolnough for next week to discuss all matters relating to the football club, on and off the field as well as the structure here and in Abu Dhabi.

This is interesting because Sam Wallace told Woolnough and the others on that show a few weeks ago that they needed to go up and spend day to understand what City are doing. Previously I had no time for Sam Wallace but at least now he understands the setup and reports it as it is - good or bad.

BTW - very good on Vicky - she really seems to be doing a great job - if I am right I she started at ground level and has worked hard to get where she is. Good on her!!

This has cheered me considerably, knowing the club will not take this sort of garbage from the likes of Beasley and his mob lightly. The fact that Ms Kloss responded personally and took the time to explain the club's stance on this has slightly abated the seething fury I've been bottling up since I saw the clip of the Sunday Supplement.

I don't subscribe to Sky Sports myself, but if and when Woolnough and his cronies issue their apology I hope someone posts it up for us all to see.

Finally, well done to Johnny Crossan and the other City fan(s) who took the bull by the horns and made a stand. Kudos to you, chaps. Nice one.

Vicky is the future Mrs Toma. She just doesnt know it yet.

I love the line 'even deeper rooted enemies', an acknowledgement that the media are indeed taking the piss with us and the club are aware of this.

Hey...hey...hey Toma! Back off buddy..........i already have first dibs to Miss Kloss, i am just dealing with the current wife first and then she's a shoe in !!
Chubby chasers, eh . . .

Good one Johnny C .
At last City standing up to the press ,something I have been banging on about for years ,you watch the attitude change now. The people that run our club have got loads of dough ,but they are also very astute business men ,something the Press do not understand ,preferring to think that they are running City as a plaything. .
They will all get a shock in the next few years.

Thanks for posting that. Very interesting and shows the club has the right strategy in place to deal with the rag biased medja and rupert murdochs $ky/mutv bunch in particular. He'll be thinking he owns the 'sky' in 'skype' next the wally. Oh he actually does think that.....lol

"Pragmatic legal advice however is that pursuit of this would be risky and potentially counter productive. "

Not sure this should be in the public domain. Showing our hand a bit isn't it?

Interesting stuff but in my view this sort of reply from the clubs representative should not be posted on here.

Clearly any Journalist can access this site and as such geta feel for the thoughts of Vicky before she has met with them.

I may be wrong but just a thought.
