That's a terrific idea.

You'd need to get Bill Gates to sponsor that if you were going to have a prize for every lie!Pam said:We should have a spot the lie competition ... and a prize.
I don't think it's a case of "oh no, it's the Jews again".Bentheblue said:Does anyone think there is a possiblity the media's hate capaign against us is is due to the fact that Sky and most newspapers are owned by Jews and we are owned by Arabs, who are seen by Jews as their very long term enemies.
Not sure if the term racist can be applied to this type sectarian hatred but the orchestrated venom being unleashed on us has got to be due to something much more than the media just not wanting the top four cartel to be broken.
The media do not seem to have problem with Spuds and their large Jewish following breaking into the top four, in fact they go overboard to support them.
Apologies if this idea offends any Jewish Bluemooners it is not intended to, I have no problem with anyone of any creed, sect or religion. It's just thought.

Still, I'm sure he'll be back - and if nothing else I will politely (or otherwise!) check-in with him and clarify whether it is his belief that Manchester City are indeed "morally bankrupt". Can't wait for that.
The agenda is very clear however, and it may help to understand their thinking. If a memo were to be circulated expressing how they felt at the time of the takeover and how they still feel, I suspect that it might have read as follows:
"Members - today is a dark day, a very dark day in the history of English football. It is my duty to inform you that a member of the Abu Dhabi ruling family, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, has taken ownership of those no-threat northern theatre of base comedy perennial losers - otherwise known as Manchester City FC. Obscene as it may sound, it is the intention of the Sheikh to use his oil-generated revenues to establish Manchester City as a dominant football super-power.
I am sure that I do not need to remind you that we (the FA) have a compelling duty to protect our global brand (ie the Premier League) and the billions of pounds in profit (and personal salaries) that that represents. Moreover, we must ensure that the world-wide flag-bearer of our brand (Manchester United) is protected at all costs from this vulgar, emerging threat. Our encyclopaedic knowledge of the game tells us that, regardless of this "lottery win", Manchester City have never and will never amount to anything other than a frippery, a mere side-show, when compared to our "Big Four". We must therefore unite, managers and players, journalists and broadcasters, leaders and administrators and all those with the love of "Our Game" at heart, to end this whim, to resist this intrusion and to send those responsible back to where they belong.
I know that you will join me in privately rejecting this abhorrence and publicly work with us in ensuring that no cash rich new-money sultan type has the temerity ever again to just walk-in and attempt to take what we have invested hundreds of years in in trying to create. We must ensure that this "project" is doomed to failure and quickly - otherwise, ask yourself, where will it end?
We are mobilising our resources already and on a positive note I am delighted to confirm that I have successfully enlisted the services of those with the insight to recognise the ugliness of this threat and are not prepared to sit back and do nothing, including our dear friends at the BBC (including Sir Alan Green) and Sky (Sir Rupert).
You must take action dear Member - the future of "Our Game" depends upon it."
