Update your iPhone/iPod touch to IOS4 now.

Just found this site which has the upgrade available. You need the new itunes and have to be a mac user. Its all here to download.

This is the version that will be released at the end of the month but if your an impatient sod like me then get it while you can.

Right, all done.

You have to restore from back up so sync your phones and ipods before you install it. Mine is in the restore from back up process so it all works a charm. I'll try and stick up some screenshots so you get the idea that it works.

You will have to restore from back up when it becomes available any way. This has apparently been confirmed by Apple so you really dont have to wait for the 'official' release as this is the one.

When i sync my iphone to my itunes on my PC, it always says it couldn't save my apps. If i do this update, will i lose all my apps?

just had a quick look now, im not that great on computers.....any chance svennis you can put it in pc friendly terms !! for me to download to my 3gs

I've just jail broken mine and now need to download iFile. I have no idea where to get that from and if I need to pay. I've seen it on the cydia store but im not sure. Any help?

Right, worked out the jail break stuff and now have my iPhone 3g running with full os4 features including multitasking, background wallpapers and such. Wouldnt normally tamper with this stuff but after reading the 3G can indeed work the features that apple claimed it didnt I wanted to get them on there.

If it all fecks up, well I dont have long until my upgrade is due anyway.
