Uprising in Iran

You can be critical of Israel PB without being antisemitic. Reading that post I’d say it was highly critical of Israel and the US but not antisemitism. That said, if a poster thinks it’s a sane idea for Iran to have the capacity to launch nuclear weapon I’d say they’re beyond rational debate.
He used the word "Zionists" not "Israel". In any event, while there's no doubt Israel would be delighted to see the end of the Iranian regime, and are looking on hopefully, they aren't stirring large scale unrest.

And, as you say, anyone wanting this regime to develop nuclear weapons is clearly deranged but also likely a Jew-hater.

He said 'Zionists', not Israel.

It always the fault of those pesky Jews isn't it. Amazing they find the time between controlling the world's banks and media, most governments and organising mass immigration.

And the site owner wonders why I get so angry with him and his moderating team over both the blatant and latent antisemitism on here.

Maybe the Iranian people, a well-educated and modern group of people, are fed up with being governed by a medieval theocracy that oppresses them relentlessly and ruthlessly, runs an economy suffering from hyper-inflation and is more worried about spending a fortune on acquiring nuclear weapons and fomenting terrorism across the Middle East and the rest of the world than giving them a decent standard of living? Just a thought.
The only logical conclusion you can draw, given the amount of evidence provided, is that antisemitism is tolerated on the forum.

Agree with all that but I don’t equate Zionism with Judaism.

He did indeed. I don’t equate Zionism with Judaism.
Strange, as you see, most Jewish people would. The concept of their being a Jewish state, which follows Jewish law and allows the open practice of Judaism, because, like most things in life, Zionism is a spectrum, is a widely held one amongst Jewish people.

Some take it to extremist levels, like Netenyahu, but many Jewish people live in the hope that there will be a Jewish nation, just as there are Christian, Hindu and Islamic nations.

'Zionism' is not a dirty word; anti-semites would have you believe it is.

Here's the problem; antisemites use the word 'zionists' as code for Jews. Had he said 'Israel' then I don't have any problems with that, even though it's rather fanciful that Netanyahu can click his fingers and bring millions of Iranians onto the streets.

Judaism is a religion. Zionism is a political ideology for statehood. The two are intertwined but distinct from one another.
Neither are dirty words.

You forgot the Jewish space lasers. Still actively working for the Dems, helping them steal all those local elections by record margins.
Free Tina Peters.

This is not really a uprising but the zionists doing their utmost with America to destabilise Iran. They did not succeed militarily now using their next approach. When will these western puppets stop meddling at the behest of the zionists.

Quicker Iran gets the n bomb all this stops.

All we need is now for China to sail into Taiwan.
You think people want to live under a regime like that? Would you like to live under a regime like that?

Do you know really what it is like to live in Iran first hand?

What would an Iraqi or Libyan say if you now asked them if they want to live under Saddam or Gaddafi? You think the west are interested in their day to day lives or making it any better?

Just look at the self interest of America in Venezuela.

We should not be a proxy for a zionist entity.

First hand, no, but I’ve dealt with plenty of Iranian people in the UK and liked nearly all of them.

They do have a tendency to be a bit ‘ex-pat’ and are generally inimical to the regime, but even taking that into account I am content that my view on the regime is well informed, and likely to be better informed than yours I’ll hazard.
