I would be very underwhelmed by this signing but it is probably one that can be quickly concluded in readiness for him to step right in at left centre back and put pressure on Lescott when he returns, like he does with England for the fringe spot. He's average for me.

It's hard work keeping it going, however the number of WUM's on here has declined since the heady days of last January
