First time for ages i havent been out to watch the game.

SWPB texted me with a spare at 5-30 just as i was on my way to our kids in Biddulph to drop some stuff off. Thanks mate for the offer, didnt get back til around 7-3ish.

So had the joy of being at home and thought i would venture into the matchday thread, my word it is muppet central. Please dont go there cellarites its scary, i imagine loads are hanging on ropes just now.

I then made my next mstake, i thought the after match thread would be full of analysis and insight. Fuck me thats worse.

I will go back to my usual policy. No BM on matchdays, No upstairs til 3 days later

Which is a shame as I thought you made some really good posts, we need more people like you to post in the match day threads, it really helps to calm things down

I tried but i felt i was just being swamped by idiocy.

Everyone of course deserves a voice and i would not ever advocate they should be gagged, and i imagine a lot of the people who are posting in the threads are younger lads who cant get to the game and are passionate about City. I would probably have been the same.

You and the other mods on the threads deserve medals for trying to control them mate
