Why do people get so worked up over a friendly?
I remember the days when you didn't even know they'd played one till the start of the season when you read the programme

I completely agree.

Friendlies are nowt.
In days of yore I remember us winning them all easily and then being relegated

Just do what I do and enjoy and read about a new signing when we actually get him.
When it's official.
I know, it's just happy clappers, or manic depressives, up there. Billy's doing the I love cheeky wankathon

My lad sends me 30 mins updates on who City may be signing.

I really want to kill someone by the end of the transfer window.
Not my lad though, obviously. Just the place he is getting it from. Twatter probably.

The worst thing is I really couldn't care about the transfers, just like to know who we are interested in and then watch them play

The transfer forum is just full of shit and, u fortunately, I have to read it to mod it!
It gets really depressing at times

Re: "Upstairs" — The Bluemoon Refugee Camp

I have 6 freezing Peroni and cold homemade Chilli burgers. May I seek sanctuary here? No wonder I never post up there.

They just bore me to death. 'Nowt to see here' springs to mind.
Only 4 weeks to though yeah? :-(

I just find it easy to chill these days, think we're in good hands let them get on with it.

Exactly.
My lad is 31 this year but I remember when he got a liking for Spurs (spits!!) when he was about 8. It was the FAC Final year with Gazza.
Soon put a stop to that by taking my lad to Maine Road soon after but he has now evolved into a City monster; texts all day about the formation, possible signings, the new kit, twitter twatter, Facebook rumours, the whole bloody works!
Am exhausted lol!

Re: "Upstairs" — The Bluemoon Refugee Camp

I'm a top blue as I went to Bristol City away in a friendly once.

Chip muffin anyone?
