US & Israel attack Iran

If no-one has a reason to bomb us we wont get bombed. And we wont need to rely on the most unreliable ally thats been hanging shit on us for weeks to defend us.

A good starting point.
I am not the national politics works that way. There is always "in case" clause plus the politicians on both sides of Atlantic just like a distraction of a good international crisis and possible war.

And also, look at Carney, he goes to Davos and gives one of the political speeches of this century unloading all shit on Trump. And then a mere week later he gives him the full support attacking Iran, no ifs no buts. It is like living in the matrix.

There is something almost genetically wrong with Anglo-Saxon politicians and their one-way pragmatism. And I would dare to say, not only politicians, the whole societies are constructed that way.

Well, at least the plumbing works on our carriers and no one has to wade knee deep in shit.

Nor has any of carriers been put out of action by Iran.

USS Gerald R Ford has steamed to Greece for repairs following a ‘galley fire.’ In truth it has been hit by Iranian missiles.

It is interesting..

The US thought it had decapitated Iran but Iran is a multi headed country capable of surviving and thriving.

The US on the other hand..

Just watching a report on the destruction of oil refining capability in the gulf.

The world economy is fucked.

We are currently 11 billion barrels a day short and it’s only going to get worse. Even if the war stops tomorrow and it won’t, it will take years to rebuild the lost capacity.

Trump needs to be removed from power as soon as possible so that the world can move forward.

And Israel needs to be put on a leash. Not sure how that happens.

I seem to recall in the early 2010's the Govt were being warned that Carriers were equipped to fight "old" wars and out dated. Drones have changed the nature of warfare and only a few armies have a handle on how to use them and use them effectively. Tanks are looking dodgy too - especially in urban warfare. Hezbollah are knocking out Israeli armoured vehicles in droves if they are to be believed.

Trump confirmed Iran launched 1000 drones at the USS Abraham Lincoln. He bragged that they shot down every one with missiles which is probably why it’s sailed away from Iran out of range because its defences are completely depleted. $5m for Iran to take a $14bn carrier out of the theatre of war.

I believe the USS Ford fire was a fire, but the fact it went on for 30 hours and has put the ship out of commission for 2 years just shows the limitation of these ships which the US seems to just build out of hubris and to spend money.

They lost 3 jets off the deck doing evasive manoeuvres last year. Cost circa $600 million. It was also leaked that the Navy gave serious doubts about its ability to perform in combat situations unrelated to the fire.

Not so sure on them been hit by drones, the way a carrier fleet works is the carrier is surrounded by other ships, for them to get to it, the drone wouldve had to pass by a dozen other ships, I’m not saying it couldn’t happen but more than likely it would be shot down or Iran would just try to hit an other ship, the report I saw said it could be disgruntled sailors who started the fire!

once again the Met and its thin blue line - I am becoming sick of the people they have recruited who turn out to be a "rotten apple" - find us the good ones eh?

Something is going to have to give here, it cannot continue.

The level of arrogance and delusion displayed by Trump and his administration is astonishing, I genuinely think they thought the US was just capable of rolling anyone and everyone in days, they didn’t have a plan and didn’t have any foresight.

It’s a bigger fuck up than Vietnam, not in American lives, potentially yet, but in terms of a mess of a decision.

I keep repeating myself but I’m just gobsmacked at how bad a decision it was. I’m a layman and knew you can’t start a war with Iran, I’d watched enough and read enough that described how it isn’t another Iraq… the terrain, the military preparation Iran had made, it’s geopolitical terrorist allies, and the position of the Strait of Hormuz, all meant it was off the table.

How can I, some working class bloke in Greater Manchester, that drinks too much and likes football, know that from a couple of documentaries and articles, yet the US administration didn’t?

Trump has destroyed America’s position as no.1, whatever it was, in the world. The reputation has gone, it’s military-might now questionable, it’s moral standing gone.

China will be laughing its cock off.
