Most of the common sense seems to be coming out of the Iran team, whereas Trump has ordered his army to stay in post in and around the Middle East, 50 thousand troops are stationed there ready for a ground offensive.

Some reports say “Hundreds have rallied in Tel Aviv against the Israeli government, demanding an end to war and warning against what some describe as a cycle of never-ending conflict”
Israel is currently dropping phosphorus bombs on Lebanon

The only party taking anyone's lunch money so to speak is IRGC in the Strait of Hormuz.

To use a better analogy, the IRGC are the school bullies and they have been sent to the headmasters office for trying to steal people's lunch money. In the headmasters office are Trump and Bibi. IRGC are the unruly rebellious teenage troublemaker and they are facing the prospect of being expelled from the school (in this case the world) unless they ask their Daddy Trump for leniency and forgiveness.

They should have taken the deal. They could have asked for leniency. But no, they want more war with the US and Israel apparently. Where's the outrage over IRGC not "negotiating"? They are not in a position to walk away from these negotiations.

Iran is in big, big trouble, unfortunately for them. They've revealed themself to be non-negotiators and simple stallers. If they refuse to stop stealing ships lunch money in the strait, if the refuse to commit to the terms of the agreement, then they will meet more American and Israeli might and will be harmed by their own arrogance and hatred against the Jews. One thing is very apparent, is that it is not too smart to fight America and her allies, Iran will learn the hard way. They have made very bad and costly decisions.

They are the aggressors, wedded to Israel's destruction, teaching "Death to America" in their schools. This is an aggressive and destructive ideology. Surely you can see that clearly by now. Stealing ships lunch money whilst being destroyed by America and Israel in a war they clearly started, is not "defending themself". Last time I checked, Iran's defence is pretty much nonexistent. They have no air force, no navy, no rocket interceptors to defend their people from attacks. Meanwhile they've been sending cluster munitions towards Israel population centres.
 
If Iran does not agree to terms (it doesn't seem like they will) a naval blockade could be the next step for America. To take over the Strait and expel IRGC from their own strait. Such an action might be preferred as an alternative to more bombing.

Mr. Trump, the US-Israeli coalition attacked Iran twice. They do not have any nuclear weapons, nor do they intend on having one. A deal was already done before Trump to ensure they would not develop one, which Trump blew up. If they wanted one, they would've already acquired multiple warheads. They will not give up the ability to defend themselves, if that's what you mean.

The blinding arrogance of people to think that a country should simply cave into whatever the US demands of them is astonishing.

If they don't intend on having one then they should have no problem agreeing with the American terms. Instead they are demanding the US stop Israel from fighting Hezbollah (their proxy), they are also demanding financial compensation from America. You keep talking about IRGC defending themself. Israel's been the one under attack for ages, as a direct result of Iran's influence. Iran are the largest state sponsor of terrorism in the world. They don't get to claim self defence when they've made it their mission to destroy the holiest place on Earth and the birthplace of Jesus.

The US demands are not unreasonable. IRGC is not trustworthy and unlike other trustworthy country, cannot be trusted with a nuclear weapon given their ambitions.

That's the story coming out of Washington. Better to be prepared as to what the next steps may be. If America were to over take the strait, Iran wouldn't be able to hijack the world economy any longer.
