Pretty good point. If the US is too scared to sail past the Houthi's (adding 10,000 miles to the trip) they aren't going anywhere near the Iranian coast.

It really does amaze me that when the world is in such desperate times, people are so set upon their own little feuds that they forget the big picture.

Davey has praised the government for their stance and attacked the opposition and Reform for following Trump.

Sounds like there’s only two grown ups in the room, and I cannot for the life of me understand how, at such a time, people would try to undermine their own country.

What are you expecting of the government and King Charles, to not acknowledge hundreds of years just because that **** is in charge for a small percentage of that time?

All very weird and I can only put it down to people believing in the mis/disinformation they are seeing?

250 years since instituting a new nation, with a constitution that has proved relatively robust - till now. What on earth is there to celebrate? I can't believe the government is still willing to put the king at risk of at best embarrassment or at worst ridicule.

It's not like Charles is going to call the new ballroom like a carbuncle on the face of a familiar friend. Then it might be worth it.
