There's no need to be so black and white in your thinking - America bad, China good.

Chinas government is beyond awful. They are an authoritarian regime that control everything and crack down on any dissent.

No one is cheering on the Chinese Govt, however the Chinese Govt isn’t driving up the price of oil, disrupting world trade with a slew of tariffs that may or may not be legal or constantly threatening my country. All China has done is make my cheap toaster which arrived this morning.

Cheap toasters vs setting the Middle East on fire. Personally, I’m choosing toasters.

They are also rational actors. That is a huge point of difference.

Just doesnt look that way tbh. Russia, NK, etc.. They look like their people are living under a dictatorship. China somehow seems different. Not defending them but I do suspect we are subjected to a massive amount of anti chinese propaganda. Not sure what they've done wrong tbh, in general. I mean the the shit they are doing in the South China Seas, constantly trying turn the countries around them, its all quite American isnt it?

Russia yeah, invaded Ukrain, Putin ex KGB, Polonium twats.... Are China really on a par with that? What threat are they? I mean more than America right now what threat do China pose to the UK and the world?

To me, it sounds like they are quietly getting on with things whilst the rest of the world is trying to steal land.

I mean they're doing at lot worse to the Ughurs, Kazakhs and Hui Muslims.

Mass detention camps, forced sterilisations, forced labour and ban on religions amongst the atrocities.

Google what China does to political dissidents, what they have done to the Uyghurs, the Kazahks and Kyrgyz, also the Hui Muslims.

I get people on here are angry at Trump's government and Netanyahu but let's not act like the Chinese government are good just because they haven't done what they have done.

I think that after trump has sorted out this minor problem in Middle Arabia or what ever it's called, he's going for China next.
Whilst The Board of Peace is meant to bring everyone together, to do that you need to destroy them first.
Its why he's letting Chinese oil through his blockade, lulling them onto a false sense of security.

My point is dangerous to us... how they are with their own people is a different point.

America aren't great either at the minute (ICE etc)

Actually it wouldn't.
There are floating platforms in the North Sea that are now producing a lot less than there were.
Preparing the seabed for floating production platforms could be done now and the floating platforms repositioned before October over a weekend - thus producing more North Sea oil and gas by Autumn.

I have a friend who works with oil companies in the North Sea and they are ready to go now.
The energy secretary still says no...

I did. It's quite bad and after international condemnation they are rolling the internment camps back. I still don't see the threat to us? Is there a threat from China? Moreso than America or Russia.

I would imagine access to Natural Gas is the main priority right now. Heat pumps for older houses are not that great.
NG boilers/central heating are going to be around for a while yet no matter what the government says.
Even then, heat pumps need electricity 24/7 (unlike EV's) when it is cold. EV's can be charged overnight making use of surplus energy.
I'm sure people with more knowledge could chime in with the practical nature of how fast North Sea Gas could be drilled/extracted and then piped/distributed around the UK.
Just glad we are going into warmer weather to give us chance to sort things out.
