It was an inadequate analogy. What's reasonable force in response to being bombed by a country that can't be bombed back?Again, thank God you're not a lawyer.

I would say most Americans blame Trump first too. He's obviously the prime mover here together with Netanyahu and deserves a lot of the blame. But that doesn't give Iran a right to harm the rest of the world to exert pressure on them or because they can't win the war on conventional terms.Yeah but whiie the UK government can call Iran reckless for its tactics, most UK citizens are blaming Trump not the Iranians.
Alright whatever. Your second paragraph doesn't make much sense. I'll just cross my fingers you're not counseling anyone to use illegal force against burglars.
A simpleton says this - a nuclear suicide vest isn’t feasible due to physics. Nuclear explosions require critical mass, which by slamming the particles together. It needs space, so containers are large & heavy. This isn’t limited by tech. It’s limited by physics and reality - a place which Vance does not inhabit.
You do that.Alright whatever. Your second paragraph doesn't make much sense. I'll just cross my fingers you're not counseling anyone to use illegal force against burglars.
“When a naked man is running down the street with a knife in his hand….i shoot the bastard that’s my policy”….or words to that effect ( quoting Dirty Harry)You do that.
So under your international law, any stronger party can wage aggressive war against a weaker party and the weaker party should just surrender.I would say most Americans blame Trump first too. As I mentioned the UK didn't attack neutral shipping during the war (the Nazis did), even during the Blitz. They stopped and searched for contraband as the circumstances dictated. That's the legal standard and imo the standard of decency.
You do realise the British attacked the French fleet in WW2 in Algeria, killing over a thousand french service men, so the Germans wouldn't get their hands on it, and they were on our side!!!I would say most Americans blame Trump first too. Scuttled? Can't you only scuttle your own ship? That was an attack. You do realise the British scuttled the French fleet in WW2 in Algeria, killing over a thousand french service men, so the Germans wouldn't get their hands on it, and they were on our side!!!
Ye, you're right I'll change it.Scuttled? Can't you only scuttle your own ship? That was an attack.
That’s the question to come out of all the madness, I think he is dumb enough. It’s the one thing to come out of the news that means something. The troops are already on the way and another ten thousand to follow.Surely even Trump can't be dumb enough to send US troops in.
The Americans and Israelis are violating it. I am not sure what you are expecting Iran to do. It is the only weapon they have which may make the Americans stop trying to obliterate them. All completely true, but I'm not willing to concede anyone is allowed to violate international law.
The analysts on sky recons it will take 30 thousand troops minimum that's how many they had in Iraq. That’s the question to come out of all the madness, I think he is dumb enough. Plus whatever nato troops were in
My bad missed a 0 off. They're a factor of 10 out then - it was about 300 thousand US troops, in a country much smaller
They already have been.If they start allowing neutral shipping through then there's no issue. That would be a smart move since it reduces the need for the rest of the world to intervene to restore freedom of navigation and avoid shortages. That's not where we are right now however.
