I've often wondered about something like that. I would have capitalized on something like that after the panic and fear in the aftermath of 9/11.
They wouldn't need to target something like Fort Bragg, just various small towns throughout the country. Plant bombs under local bridges or petrol stations, just small innocuous locations. They wouldn't even need to kill anybody.
The fear that would generate throughout the country would be far more overwhelming than if it was done in the UK. These people are brought up and brainwashed that they are the best in the world, their military is the best in the world, their country is the best in the world....and it is safe from the enemy.
They wouldn't be able to get their heads around being attacked on their own land and in their own neigbourhood.
You won't get his youngest face to face with the enemy in a million years.......after all, he's exceptionally tall and they don't have a uniform to fit. The Iranians could take the war to him. His father has no regard for people, least of all the suckers who died in service for their country, but this one being knocked off would devastate him and in all likelihood finish him off.
What's he going to do, bomb the country some more, kill another leader?
That's the way I would look at things if I was the Iranian regime.
