At least Iran appears rightly decided not to have taken Trump's offer of negotiations in good faith.

The problem is in the first few words there. Remember, this is a country where they had to stop selling the 1/3lb burger because the majority of people thought it was smaller than a 1/4lb burger.

I feel like I have to prefix every post with the fact that I'm not sympathetic towards the Iranian regime or I'll have accusations thrown at me. I'm not. That said, they have tended to be more restrained than you'd expect of "lunatics" as they are characterised, it often comes across as measured retaliation. If it truly has been measured retaliation rather than just not having the resources to do more then things could be about to get bad.
