Spain refused to allow the refuelling tankers to be within Spain sometime this year.
Sanchez is still sensitive about the 1966 accident in South East Spain that dropped 4 hydrogen bombs there. They still await a full clean up by USA.

No, there is a huge difference between a foreign Anti semitic wanting to come to this country and an entire government and army obliterating civilians.
I dont see our current government saying anything about a war criminal authorising genocide but I see them spouting off about a man who says hurty words.

Kanye West has never ordered the murder of innocent people. Our government have welcomed with open arms those that do.

Clearly not.

What I meant was that passing comment on the Kanye situation whilst not having come out to pass comment on what the US is threatening in Iran, which is significantly more important than anything Kanye has ever done in his life, is not very good optics for a world leader.

Sometimes topics, even those of signifiance, have to take a back seat to other more important ones and he completely missed the mark on it today.

It would seem to some on here that it is far more important to call out one stupid, media driven, 'gangsta' than to call out a leader of a country who is engaged in commiting war crimes, mass murder and ethnic cleansing

Not sure who said there isn’t a huge difference. As I say, just because the government is doing one thing, it doesn’t automatically make them not do anything else.

I'm not saying that they're carrying nukes, but they are capable. It wouldn't take that long to move them from one base to another.

I haven't seen Starmer or any member of the labour party calling out Netanyahu or his killers.
I have seen Starmer reacting with indignation and moral outrage about West performing here.

The war has been going on for two and a half years. Do you really expect him to pass comment on it daily and ignore what’s happening in the UK?

@west didsblue is very much a Starmer guy. It is normal to be quiet about a huge international crisis but mention a cretinous singer obviously :-)

There just wasn't enough time to mention both.

Using a B-52 is pointless because F-35's or B-2's can do the job better. They're faster and stealthy and they can also defend themselves. The B-52 is a slow and massive duck so it would be a crazy risk with that payload.

The max speed of the B52 and the B2 are almost identical.
