Feels like he's backed himself too far into a corner on this one to taco himself out of this. but saying that, nobody ever seems to question him every other time he does it so he probably could and get absolutely no pushback on empty threats.

Iranians forming human shields on supposed targets is bloody brave given the lunacy of the person they're fronting up to, doubt he'd even give a single seconds thought to several dozen civilian deaths if he decides to bomb those places.
 
Either because they love their country or they are under duress, Iranians are now lining up on bridges and around power stations.

Mind you how long they are prepared to stand there is anybodies guess.

No, the main benefit is putting us in a position where it is visible to other countries that we're distancing ourselves from these actions. It's not about influencing the US, that ship has long since sailed, it's about trying not to be in the crosshairs if we don't need to be.
 
2 week ceasefire proposed by Pakistan gaining momentum, although when TACO happens he’ll probably make it 3 weeks so he can deny it being someone else’s idea.

Other countries will know exactly what our position is through normal diplomatic channels rather than via social media.

The more public condemnation by other countries the better.

We should not only be condemning the USA and Israel action so far, bit we should be condemning the threats over the past 24 hours.

And we should publicly be making it clear that if Trump doesnt taco there will be significant consequences.

In cases like this if youre not against them youre for them. And I'd prefer the UK not be on the wrong side of this particular ugly bit of history.
